MARY VISKER

I earned my BS degree in education from Brigham Young University. I spent my college summers counseling and directing in resident girls’ camps. I received my MS degree from the University of Arizona in physical education and athletic training. I have taught in both high school and college. I am an avid backpacker and celebrated my 50^th birthday with a solo backpacking trip into the High Uintah Wilderness.

My friend, Beverly Thomas and I started the Utah Valley Children’s Choir which toured and performed across the United States and in England and Scotland. At the age of sixty, I received my third degree in nursing which allowed me to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a missionary nurse. I am also the published author of Miracles, Personal Revelation, and a Thankful Heart.   Gotham Books will be publishing an expanded second edition of this book soon… My greatest accomplishment is that of being the mother of two sons, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
