My Blog
My name is Mary Ann Wilson Visker, hence, the address of my website is MAWVisker. The purpose of this website is to provide a platform for sharing thoughts about finding and living a “Peaceable Life.”
My first book in the Shadows series, Shadows on the Canyon Wall, finds two mature
high school seniors embroiled in fierce competition which dates back to their elementary school days. Terry and Pam are tied for first place in their graduating class with 4.00 GPAs as they both head off for the summer to become staff members at Lightning Mountain Girls Camp.
Although they both seem to be on top of their worlds, neither of them has a peaceful
life. As you read through their struggles to gain peace, I have introduced some
positive actions that they desperately need to incorporate into their lives. Most of the
summer they fiercely hang on to peace-blockers. They don’t begin to change until
they are caught by a flash flood in a slot canyon and must depend on each other to
survive.
I plan on sharing my ideas for finding “The Peaceable Life” on this website every few weeks as well as incorporating them into my novels. I would welcome any positive ideas you would like to share in the place provided.
